City back in training ahead of pre-season start (29/6/16)

City's players returned to training last night and, despite the damp conditions, enjoyed an excellent first session ahead of their opening pre-season match on Saturday. Scottish Premier League side Partick Thistle are the visitors to Twerton Park and they are the first of five home friendles for City. The more familiar Bristol Rovers return to their former home on Tuesday 12 July before Cheltenham Town head down the M5 on Saturday 16 July. A week later Oxford United are the oppostion then on Tuesday 26 July the Romans face the red half of Bristol when City send a side to Bath. Gary Ower's side also face three away games - Chipping Sodbury Town (6 July), Shortwood United (19 July) and, in their final summer outing, Torquay United (29 July). All Saturday games kick of at 3pm and midweek matches at 7.45pm (Chipping Sodbury Town 7.30pm).

Admission prices for the home games are adults £8, concessions £6 & U16's £2 apart from the Oxford United XI match which is £6/£4/£1.

The 2016-17 Vanarama National League South season kicks off on Saturday 6 August and the fixtures are due to be published on Wednesday 6 July.


Vanarama extend league sponsorship (15/6/16)

The National League announced at the formal meeting of Clubs who assembled at their Annual Congress at Celtic Manor on Saturday 11th June the following. Vanarama have extended their existing Title Sponsorship deal. The new deal will be a 12 month rolling contract which in the first instance will see them continue at least for a fourth year up to June 2018. This was excellent news for clubs to receive when announced to the meeting.

Andy Alderson MD said "The rebrand exercise taken hby The National League 12 months ago has in part helped our own brand image grow in and outside our industry. Our profile and recognition has risen beyond our expectations. We look forward to continuing to work closely with everyone connected with the League and our early decision to extend to 2018 validates how partnerships can flourish if the mix is right".

Robins visit complete pre-season fixtures (14/6/16)

City have added one final fixture to their pre-season campaign, with Sky Bet EFL Championship side Bristol City visiting Twerton Park on Tuesday 26 July (ko 7.45pm).


City keeper Phillips in World Cup win (12/6/16)

Whilst Roy Hodgson's England were getting their Euro 2016 off to an unlucky 1-1 draw with Russia last night, out in Thailand the Senior Team, including City keeper Steve Phillips, were celebrating lifting the Seniors World Cup. Two wins in their three group matches took England into a semi-final clash with Scotland, where they triumped 3-0. The final against the host nation saw a single first half goal enough to secure the title. Congratulations to Steve from all connected to the Romans.

With Sitec on the front of next season's first team shirts, following the shirt sponsors draw last month, it is time to look at the winner linked to the back of the shirts - Gradwell Communications. Julien St.John-Dennis, chief Marketing Officer at Gradwell Communications is thrilled to be "backing" the shirt for Bath City Football Club and is looking forward to a successful season.The shirts should be available for sale early next month, with the logos of Sitec on the front and Gradwell Communications on the back.


City sign experienced striker Fleetwood (7/6/16)

City have signed experienced striker Stuart Fleetwood. The 30-year old Gloucester born frontman was part of the Sutton United team that lifted the Vanarama National League South last season and has enjoyed successful spells with Forest Green Rovers, Luton Town and Eastleigh. City manager Gary Owers said, "We are very pleased to have Stuart on board. He is a striker with a proven record over the course of his career, and I am confident he can come in and add something to the squad with his professionalism, ability and experience."


Partick Thistle to open City pre-season (7/6/16)

The Club is pleased to announce it will commence its pre-season fixtures by welcoming Scottish Premier League side, Partick Thistle, to Twerton Park on Saturday 2nd July with the match kicking off at 3pm. Admission prices will be Adults £8, Concessions £6 and U16ís £2.
