Because of half-term and bank holiday, and in response to requests, City are allowing one extra working day to get your 2013-14 season ticket at the cheapest price. Apply by Monday, 3 June and you get the early bird deal. Ticket sales so far have gone very well, and this helps the club massively over the Summer period and in signing the players we need to be capable of pushing for a play off place next season.
FA Leagues Committee annouce 2013-14 Conference South line-up (18/5/13)
The FA Leagues Committee have annouced the club allocations for Steps 1 to 4 for the 2013-14 season and the Conference South line-up sees a returning club from the North, the arrival of City's 2012-13 FA Cup conquerors and two new opponents. Bishop's Stortford have returned south after two seasons in the Conference North whilst Gosport Borough, who knocked City out of the FA Cup back in October, make their bow in step two along with Concord Rangers and Whitehawk. City will meet these two clubs for the first time in their history, although by then the latter are likely to be known as Brighton City as they look to continue their meteoric climb up the non-league pyramid. The full Conference South line-up is:
As in previous years, there are a number of issues that may yet impact on these allocations and therefore they remain subject to change until the dates of the AGMs of the four competitions involved.

City U18s miss out on cup success after Newport defeat (9/5/13)
City's U18 side narrowly missed out on cup success at Mayday Trust Park this evening when they lost by a single goal to Newport County in the final of the Gary Else Memorial League Cup. The Welsh side deservedly went in front midway through the first half from a close range finish. This seemed to wake City up and they dominated the rest of the half and continued to look the better side into the second period. However, they struggled to create any clear cut openings and with 16 minutes left suffered a further setback when Matt McCarthy was shown a straight red card for a late challenge on Exiles keeper Swan. To their credit City continued to push forward but only a late penalty appeal - that the referee adjudged a foul but just outside the box - gave the visitors a scare and it was the Welsh side celebrating at the final whistle.
City add treble up top with capture of Stearn, Pratt and Watkins (8/5/13)

And completing the new arrivals is 27-year old Truro City player of the year Watkins, having scored well over 100 goals for the Cornish side since joining them from Bideford in 2006. All signings are subject to paperwork.
