City bring in Rigg from Weymouth (18/5/16)
City are pleased to announce their first new signing for the 2016-17 season with George Rigg joining the club from Weymouth. The Bristol-based midfielder came up through the junior ranks with Bristol City before spending a couple of years with Stoke City. He moved to the South Coast with Weymouth in January 2014 and was soon a vital part of the Terras midfield. The 22-year old said, "I'm very excited to sign. It's a big club and I'm raring to go. It all happened fairly quickly after the end of the season at Weymouth. I know Gary [Owers], and we spoke throughout last season after he took over at Bath. When the season closed we had another chat about what was right for him and right for me, and it happened from there. I'm looking forward to it. I know I can play at that level and it will be a good challenge, so I can't wait."
