He once again surfaced at Lambridge after a stint in the US in the 1925-26 season, but added a single appearance to his total. Went onto become player-manager with Cheltenham Town.

Was a regular scorer for the reserve side but found his first team opportunities somewhat limited. After several seasons like this, including a spell with Paulton Rovers, he made a surprise move to Swansea City in July 1975. Scored six goals in 16 league games for the Swans but was released in February 1976 to join Minehead. Helped the Somerset side to a giant-killing FA Cup win over his former club the following season. A spell with Weymouth followed before he was back at Twerton Park for the 1979-80 season - again largely confined to the reserves despite costing £250 - then Yeovil Town and Forest Green Rovers, for who he scored twice in the 1982 FA Vase win. Finished his career with Gloucester City and Dorchester Town.

Paddy was a young Irishman stationed in the area with the RAF. He joined City early in 1952 as an amateur and would have made more than his 14 appearances but for regular call-ups to play for this unit. In the summer of that year he turned professional with Bristol Rovers, where he spent two seasons making a handful of first team appearances. He had a trial with Southend United before joining Colchester United in July 1954. After a single season at Layer Road he moved on to Tonbridge.

Since then he has played for Evesham Town and Halesowen Town, and was on the on the books of AFC Telford for a couple of seasons but he spent a spell on loan at Hednesford Town and was then released.

Made 130 successive appearances before missing a game against Lovells Athletic in November 1953 when he was surprisingly rested. He was granted a benefit match in 1956. Harry was released in the summer of that year to join Chippenham United.

Regular goals in the Western League for the reserves, he scored 26 times the next season, saw him occasionally promoted to the first team although it wasn't until the 1987-88 campaign that he earned a regular starting place. Scored eight goals in 29 games that season but choose to drop two divisions to Mangotsfield United in the summer of 1988. Finished his career with Chepstow Town in the Welsh Football League, where he also had his first taste of football management.

Central defender Malcolm started his career with his hometown club Southend United in 1971. He failed to make a first team start for the Shrimpers and joined Orient in August 1972. Three seasons with the London club followed without ever becoming a regular in their starting XI and he moved onto City in the summer of 1974. When this move did not work out he headed to the USA to play for the Tampa Bay Rowdies. After two years overseas he returned to play for Gravesend & Northfleet and Tilbury.

Looked like this problem had cursed 'Dead' Loss when he picked up a knee injury in his second outing. However, he recovered after an operation to play in a further five games before returning to Ashton Gate. The former Norwich City trainee was released at the end of that season and has subsequently played for a succession of Welsh sides including Merthyr Tydfil, Barry Town and Haverfordwest County.

The 21-year old Scouser made an immediate impact at Twerton Park, scoring on his debut against Sutton United, and became a regular in the side for the rest of the season. Unfortunately, off the pitch he failed to settle into the West Country, continuing to live on Merseyside and commute, and early during the next season he requested a transfer eventually switching to Runcorn for a nominal fee. Went onto play for Marine, facing City in an FA Trophy tie in 1995, and is currently a youth coach with Everton.
